IPMAT Indore needs only a pass for IIM Indore. IIM Jammu and Bodh Gaya may differ slightly, so check each IIM. For CA Foundation, ICAI allows registration after Class 10 and the exam after appearing in Class 12; the Class 12 result is needed to move to Intermediate.

Patterns are for the latest cycle; confirm in each 2027 notification. IPMAT Indore has three sections with +4/−1 on MCQs and no negative marking for short-answer Quant. All patterns may change in 2027.

Good to know
- IPMAT Indore is the gateway to the 5-year IPM at IIM Indore and, through its score, IIM Ranchi, Shillong and Amritsar plus institutes such as IIFT Kakinada and TAPMI.
- The earlier source gives registration as the first week of February to the last week of March 2027 and the exam in the first or second week of May. Other guides expect the exam anywhere from the first to the third week of May and an official notification between October 2026 and January 2027, so treat dates as tentative.
- Fees: ₹4.5 to 6 lakh per year for the first three years and standard MBA fees (₹8 to 10 lakh per year) for the PG years.
2.2 IPMAT Rohtak

Most commerce students also consider the professional courses. CA Foundation is conducted by ICAI three times a year; the January 2027 exam form window was due to open in early November. CS (ICSI) and CMA (ICMAI) follow similar staged structures; their dates and fees differ, so check icsi.edu and icmai.in. Details beyond the CA Foundation dates come from general knowledge.
